Teach-In Group is recruiting a Digital Design teacher for an international school in The Hague. You will teach students aged 11 to 16 within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and guide them in applying digital skills to relevant and real-world challenges.
You will join an international school community representing over 100 nationalities. The school fosters collaboration, innovation, and continuous professional development. Lesson observations and shared projects are part of the teaching culture, and teachers are encouraged to contribute ideas and take initiative.
Dit ga jij doen:
- Teaching programming, graphic design, databases, spreadsheets, and web development;
- Guiding students through the design cycle and supporting the development of digital solutions;
- Integrating technologies such as JavaScript, Python, HTML, 3D printing, virtual reality, and AI into lessons;
- Collaborating within a team of nine fellow teachers on curriculum development and instructional quality;
- Encouraging students to think critically, collaborate, and create functional and meaningful digital work.
Wat bieden wij jou?
- One-year temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment;
- Salary according to Dutch secondary education collective agreement (CAO VO), scale LB: €3,463 – €5,277 gross per month (1.0 FTE);
- 8% holiday allowance and 8.33% year-end bonus;
- Travel allowance, pension scheme, and tax benefits via a cafeteria system;
- Start date: 1 August 2025.
Is er een match?
- Recognised teaching qualification for Design (e.g., PGCE);
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Design or a related field;
- Minimum of three years’ experience teaching at secondary school level;
- Experience with or interest in the IB MYP framework;
- Strong command of English and ability to work independently in an international environment.
